If you are on v12 of AIM, you'll need to enter your AIM ApiKey and your Web Encryption Key into your Storefront to connect to your v12 Version of AIM. To get your AIM Api Key and your Web Encryption key, please follow these steps.
Requirements:
- API Security Computer - sometimes referred to as a C2B Machine
- Vortx hosted AIMStorefront website.
In AIM:
- Go to Maintenance > Active-e > Active-e Setup.
- Click on E-Commerce & API > API tab.
- Enter the AIM API key in the AIM API Key field. (Key provided by Tri-Tech).
- Next Generate the C2B Encryption key (this should only be done once).
- Save
You will need both the AIM API key and the Web Encryption Key to enter in AIMStorefront. - Navigate back to the API tab so you have access to copy the two keys into your AIMStorefront
Adding your keys to AIMStorefront:
- Log into the admin panel of your website by going to mysite.com/aesys (you would use your actual site url in place of "mysite.com")
- Go To Configuration > Settings
- Change your settings group to C2B and type "AIMSI" in the Search Name
- Click Apply Filter

- Add your AIM API key (from AIM) to the AIMsiApiKey setting
- Now, type "aeC2BEncryptionkey" in the Search Name
- Click Apply Filter

- Click Refresh Store
