AIMStorefront E-Commerce (v12)


Requirements:

  • E-Commerce Module
  • AIMStorefront


Connecting AIMStorefront to AIM for E-Commerce:

  1. In aesys of AIMStorefront go to Configuration > GlobalConfig Parameters and filter Settings Group by WSI.


  1. In AIM go to Maintenance > XML/EDI > XML/EDI Setup. 
  2. Click on Active-e C2B & eCommerce > Update Shopping cart tab.
  3. Paste the value of Wsi.APIKey in the login field of AIM.
  4. Paste the value of Wsi.APISecret into the password field of AIM.
  5. Enter the AIMStorefront Shopping Cart URL into the Shopping Cart URL field. Make sure the URL is over https (not http!), If you're not sure what to enter for your Shopping Cart URL, send u a ticket and we can help!
  6. Save


Pre-requisites:

- Active-e E-Commerce Training has been completed. 

- Web Categories are setup 

- Inventory has been sent to the cart 


Testing E-Commerce:

Once a product has been uploaded to the cart, go through the checkout process to verify that product can be purchased and the order can be brought into AIM. 



AIMStorefront Connect API (v12)


Requirements:

  • For AIM modules that use the API to communicate a security computer is required. 
  • An Active-e module that is listed as requiring a security computer. 
  • Vortx hosted AIMStorefront web site. 


Setting up connectivity:

  1. In AIM go to Maintenance > XML/EDI > XML/EDI Setup. 
  2. Click on Active-e C2B & eCommerce. 
  3. Click on Enable Active-e C2B eCommerce. 
  4. Click on the C2B tab. 
  5. Enter the C2B API key in the C2B API key field.(Key provided by Tri-Tech). 
  6. Next generate the C2B Encryption key (this should only be done once).
  7. Save.

You will need both the C2B API key and the C2B encryption key to enter in AIMStorefront. 


Connecting AIMStorefront to AIM: 

  1. Login into aesys of AIMStorefront. This aesys (Administrative login) is provided by Vortx. 
  2. Go to configuration > Settings. 
  3. In the “Search Name, Description, Value field,” search for “AIMsiApiKey”.
  4. Click on the name and in the value field paste the C2B API key from AIM. 
  5. Save. 
  6. In the “Search Name, Description, Value field,” search for “aeC2BEncryptionkey” Click on the name and in the value field paste the C2B Encryption key from AIM. 
  7. Save.



Connecting to AIM (v11)


New AIMStorefront Websites: 


To connect AIM to your store, you'll need to go to the Maintenance ->XML/EDI -> XML/EDI setup (or Vender EDI info(v11)) -> Active-e C2B & ecommerce (or Active-e Setup (V11)). Click on Update Shopping Cart Tab and fill in your Shopping Cart URL field with your WSI staging site address, over https (not http!). 


Example: https://yourdomain.dev-aimsistorefront.vortx.com/


If you're not sure what to enter for your Shopping Cart URL, send us a ticket and we can help!


Some earlier versions of AIM will request additional information for FTP access. You can either leave these blank, or call Tri-Tech sales at 563-556-3556 to purchase the latest version of AIM. 


You'll also need to enter a valid admin login on the ASPDNSF V10 tab.


Finally, if you are using AIM V11 and services that require a security computer, enter your Store ID from AIM into the Configuration - Settings - AIMsiStoreID setting in your storefront admin (if you have version 11 or older AIM using security computer functions). Contact Tri-Tech if you can't locate your store ID.


AIMStorefront Upgrades:


To connect a test/training copy of AIM to your store, you will want to keep your Production AIM set as is. Then you can take a backup copy of your AIM to create a “Test” or “Training” copy. In this copy you will want to go to to the AIMStorefront setup area and fill in your Shopping Cart URL field with your WSI staging site address, over https (not http!).
